NDIS Team Leader/Support Worker (Permanent Part-Time)

Location: Newcastle surrounds

Hours: Min 20 hours per week (with potential for increased hours) Both roles.

Pay Rate: Starting at Level 4.1, with opportunities for pay increase.

Our boutique organisation is dedicated to empowering NDIS participants through compassionate care and tailored support. We are seeking a committed and skilled NDIS Team Leader/Support Worker to oversee our operations and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team, ensuring effective scheduling and coordination of support services under the NDIS framework.

  • Foster positive relationships with participants, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.

  • Utilise systems such as Flow Logic and SharePoint Outlook for efficient management and reporting.

  • Provide hands-on support to participants as needed, fulfilling a minimum of 10 hours a week as a support worker to become familiar with our NDIS participants and their support provisions.

  • Be reliable and available for on-call duties, addressing any urgent needs that may arise.

  • Perform administration tasks in the back office to support team operations and ensure compliance with NDIS practice standards.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in fulfilling both leadership and support worker roles as required.

  • Solve problems effectively and implement best practices in service delivery and team management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of NDIS processes, scheduling, and compliance.

  • Proven experience in managing staff and engaging with participants and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with Flow Logic and SharePoint Outlook systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability for on-call responsibilities and role transitions.
