Educational Therapy Assistant / Support Worker

At Twinkle Creators, we provide personalised educational therapy and home-based learning support for neurodivergent individuals and those with additional learning and support needs. Our mission is to equip learners with essential life and learning skills, paving the way for greater independence and future opportunities.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as an Educational Therapy Assistant / Support Worker, supporting children and young people in developing their learning, social, and daily living skills.

About the Role

As an Educational Therapy Assistant / Support Worker, you will:

  • Facilitate engaging learning and daily living activities in home and community settings
  • Provide one-on-one support that fosters independence, confidence, and social connection
  • Collaborate with families, therapists, and educators to help learners achieve their goals
  • Monitor progress and adapt activities to suit individual needs
  • Maintain clear, respectful, and professional communication with families and team members

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for individuals who:

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting neurodivergent children and young people with diverse learning needs
  • Are studying or have completed tertiary qualifications in Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Disability Support, or related fields (desirable, but not essential)
  • Have experience working with individuals with diverse learning and support needs

  • Current Resume (CV)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or eligibility to apply)
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's licence and access to a car
