Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with a strong technical background in civil and construction projects. This role will play a key part in coordinating site-based works such as the construction of service huts, CEVs, and infrastructure, while also supporting a Project Manager with governance, reporting, and administrative activities. The successful candidate will combine hands-on construction experience with project coordination skills to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate civil construction activities, including projects involving service huts, CEVs, and associated infrastructure.
  • Provide oversight of fibre builds and related construction tasks, ensuring smooth execution on the ground.
  • Take ownership of defined project components, managing delivery schedules, risks, and quality outcomes.
  • Support the Project Manager with project reporting, documentation, compliance requirements, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align on project priorities.
  • Ensure risks and dependencies are understood and communicated effectively.
  • Balance technical project involvement with governance and administrative support to drive project success.

More About You

  • Hands-on experience in civil construction or site-based infrastructure projects, ideally within the utility sector.
  • Exposure to civil construction activities.
  • Proven project coordination capability, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Strong technical grounding to understand site works, risks, and dependencies.
  • Skilled in preparing reports, maintaining project documentation, and supporting governance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with contractors, field staff, and internal teams.
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to take responsibility for work packages, not just administrative support.
