A market leading remedial contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor
to join their growing business.

You'll be working on project worth $1m - $15m and have experience with delivering safe, high quality and on time projects from conversion, through to hand over, finalization and review providing a high-quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.

As Site Supervisor, you will be part of a strong project team with a Project Manager and Project Coordinator supporting you as well as senior management oversight.

Remedial experience is desired, but not essential.

Reporting to:
Project Manager

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions with all onsite staff / subcontractors
  • Complete daily site diary entries
  • Review and manage key project issues
  • Liaise with statutory bodies ensuring all relevant notifications are made
  • Ensure site compound and amenities are established and maintained
  • Organise all site inspections with clients, authorities and consultants
  • Assist Project Manager with preparing scopes of work
  • Understand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframes
  • Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Trade or building related qualification
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractors
  • Construction Safety Induction (White) card
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
