ACFS have over 50 Prime Movers in our QLD fleet ranging from:

Mercedes / Fuso / Mack / Volvo / UD

We are currently seeking skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics based out of our Port of Brisbane workshop. Apply and take advantage of our competitive benefits.

This role will involve inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, performing repairs and preventative maintenance of our extensive prime mover fleet as well as servicing and repairing our fleet of trailers. If you are looking for an opportunity that is dynamic and working within a highly skilled team this role is for you to develop your career.

  • Attractive hourly rates for experienced candidates
  • Ongoing Permanent full time position with regular overtime required and with regular weekend work
  • Paid weekly – On Target Earnings $150,000 +

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A relevant trade qualification
  • A HR, HC and Forklift licence would be advantageous
  • High Level of Technical ability and knowledge
  • Be able to diagnose and rectify mechanical problems efficiently and cost effectively
  • Experience in fleet work-running repairs
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
  • Electrical experience
  • Good communication skills

This position covers:

  • Full-time permanent
  • Hourly rate with overtime and allowances, weekends when required
