About us

We are a family-owned business located in the expanding industrial sector of Clyde North and are looking for a qualified light vehicle mechanic to join our growing team.

About your role

Some of your responsibilities will include;

  • Conducting thorough inspections on passenger vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance requirements
  • Performing repairs and maintenance tasks, such as logbook services, minor repairs and tyre replacements
  • Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, whilst following safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborating with the Reception team and Workshop Coordinator to ensure timely and efficient repairs

About you

Our ideal candidate will;

  • Hold a minimum of Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, completed with an industry recognised training provider in Australia
  • Be a competent mechanic with a minimum of 4 years experience post qualification
  • Have good knowledge in modern automotive systems across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers, including diesel applications
  • Have strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
  • Be able to work independently and work to deadlines
  • Be a team player who is focused on providing quality service
  • Take pride in their ability to problem solve
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to supply their own basic hand tools as required (specialist tools will be provided)
  • Be punctual, reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers licence with no restrictions or demerits

Pay: $32.00 – $42.00 per hour
