A Snapshot

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk, based in Sydney or Singapore, you will report to the Enterprise Risk Director and work closely with leaders and teams across the Asia Pacific & Japan region, making your mark in a number of ways:

The role is responsible for enabling business growth by embedding a robust enterprise risk framework across AirTrunk's global operations, translating risk appetite into measurable indicators, and delivering actionable insights for executives and the Board.

Your Day to Day

  • Partner with executives and functional leads to embed risk methodologies, parameters, and taxonomy across the business.
  • Translate risk appetite into practical Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) with thresholds and escalation processes.
  • Build and improve concise, visual Board and Executive reporting and dashboards that tell a compelling story with evidence.
  • Provide risk advisory for major enterprise initiatives, market entry, and emerging risks.
  • Embed an enterprise incident and "lessons learned" approach, joining issues, root causes, actions, and follow-through.
  • Drive adoption of risk tools and data analytics, collaborating with Technology/Data teams to enable near-real-time reporting and insights.
  • Deliver hands-on outcomes as a sole contributor, influencing without authority and working across cross-functional teams.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Risk, Business, Technology); professional risk credentials (e.g., IRM/CRISC) valued but not essential.
  • 7–10+ years' experience in risk management or governance roles within complex, fast-growing, multi-national organisations (technology, infrastructure, or data centres preferred).
  • Proven experience embedding risk frameworks, designing taxonomies, and producing Board-level reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with GRC platforms and driving adoption (process, training, change).
  • Strong data and automation skills (e.g., Power BI, risk data models; AI familiarity a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and outcome-oriented problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
