**About the opportunity**:
As the new Enterprise Risk Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and other members of the Risk team, with responsibilities that include:
- Leadership of our Enterprise framework and processes for Business Continuity Management, Organisational Resilience, and Emergency Response,
- Day to Day leadership of Risk related Projects and risk team representation in other key projects related to delivery of our Enterprise Strategic Initiatives, as set out in the BaptistCare Strategic Business Plan
- Supporting the Senior Manager Risk & Compliance in development and delivery of outcomes relating to our Enterprise Compliance Framework, processes and systems
- Plan and Lead Risk based audits of key controls in place that mitigate our key enterprise risks
You will work closely with members of our enterprise Senior Leadership Group, and other key roles across the organisation, to ensure that a robust risk culture is embedded with a focus on providing quality insights to performance to enable continuous improvement in all areas of our services to our customers.
Our Risk Management team are committed to providing leading practice risk management tools (including the Archer GRC system), and processes to all of our operational divisions to support strong and caring communities that focus on improving personal wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
**About you**:
To be considered, you will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field, such as Business, Commerce or a Health discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Risk SME role
- Demonstrated experience in business continuity management, including practical experience of risk leadership/participation during an organisation level crisis
- Good working knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, processes and systems
- Sound knowledge of good quality risk and control assessment practices for Project Management
- Prior Experience at a management level regarding Business Continuity Management in a medium sized multi-service and multi-location organisation
- Demonstrated ability to lead the management of change in a structured, collaborative environment
- Experience in delivery of compliance reviews and ongoing development of related processes
- Superior level of written and oral communication skills, encompassing the ability to pitch presentations and facilitate workshops with executives and senior management
- Valid driver’s license and commitment to travel as required including inter-state (1-2 weeks per quarter)
