Role Overview
As a
Project Manager
at HEIGER, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction supply and service projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and be a part of HEIGER's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Project Planning & Management
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate across departments to align goals and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and adapt plans to mitigate risks and overcome challenges.
2.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers in construction companies, councils, and contractors.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
3.
Product Integration & Expertise
• Ensure HEIGER products are effectively integrated into project solutions.
• Offer technical advice to clients and partners on product applications.
4.
Team Leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the project teams.
5.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure all projects meet HEIGER's quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction, civil engineering, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of erosion and sediment control products such as coir logs and jute matting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
