About the Role

We're seeking a
Desktop Support Analyst
to join a dynamic IT team on a short-term basis. In this role, you'll provide both on-site and remote support for a large and diverse user base, ensuring smooth operations across desktop, mobile, and classroom technologies.

This is a hands-on position where you'll manage incidents, fulfill requests, and contribute to lifecycle and asset management. You'll also help improve internal knowledge of users and deliver outstanding customer service to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality customer support across all channels.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting for Windows, MacOS, peripherals, mobile devices, and AV/classroom tech.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, device management tools, and antivirus systems.
  • Assist with lifecycle management, configuration, and asset tracking.
  • Maintain compliance with IT policies, licenses, and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and documentation.

About You

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a busy IT environment. You'll have:

  • A relevant qualification in IT (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong technical support skills in Windows and MacOS.
  • Experience with AD, Office 365, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ITIL foundation or related certification (desirable).

Contract Details

  • Initial Term:
    3 months
  • Potential Extension:
    Depending on performance, the role may be extended for a longer tenure.
  • Work Pattern:
    Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional out-of-hours support may be required).
  • Location:
    Campus-based, Perth WA
  • Start Date:
    ASAP
