Marine Trade Supplies, located within The Boat Works at Coomera, is currently seeking a Paint Sales Assistant to join our friendly and experienced team in a permanent role.

About the Role

As our Paint Sales Assistant, you will:

  • Provide product advice and support to trade and retail customers in the marine sector

  • Mix and tint marine paints to customer specifications (training provided)

  • Accurately process sales transactions (EFTPOS and cash)

  • Assist with unpacking and storing stock, stocktakes, and maintaining inventory

  • Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks

  • Keep the store clean, organised, and stocked

  • Work closely with a team passionate about boating and marine trades

  • Local pickup & drop off products, drivers license essential

  • Roster includes every second Saturday Morning 7am to 12pm

  • Every Second Friday you finish work at 12pm & get your weekend off

What You'll Bring

  • A passion for customer service and a can-do attitude

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with trade professionals

  • Previous retail, sales, or paint industry experience is desirable

  • Good attention to detail, especially for colour tinting and stock handling

  • Physical fitness for manual handling (up to 28kg)

  • Knowledge of marine paint systems (e.g., Awlgrip, International, Alex, Jotun) is highly desirable, but training will be provided
