About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Sales, Parts, and Service divisions and oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing business. In this newly created role, you will be reporting to the Directors, and you will manage 13 direct reports across Workshop Leads, Service Advisors, Technicians, Apprentices, and Support Staff.

This is not a start-from-scratch leadership role, the team is already established, capable, and ready to be guided, steered, and inspired. You'll bring the leadership that helps them perform at their best, while also shaping the systems, processes, and culture that will take Euromarine forward.

Importantly, you will be supported by a high-calibre leadership team within our network, who will work with you to deliver on strategic growth plans. You will be part of a collaborative leadership environment where your input matters, your expertise is valued, and your impact is visible.

Key responsibilities include:

• Business Planning & Development, collaborating to design strategic goals for growth, control budgets, and optimise expenses.
• Operational Leadership of day-to-day business while driving internal and external transformation to meet organisational goals.
• Strategic Execution - assisting the Directors in analysing, evaluating, and implementing business priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Operational Process Improvement, develop, document, and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations, improve workflow, and enhance efficiency.
• Market Development and Transformation - consolidating existing market share while identifying and leveraging growth opportunities.
• Team development, People and Culture through delivering a high performance workplace upholding our great place to work mantra through leading training, performance development, and retention strategies.
• People and Culture cultivating a positive, high-performing workplace culture across all departments. Lead staffing planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management. Identify and support the growth of high-potential team members.
• Use performance data to monitor and improve team output. Analyse warranty figures and workflow efficiencies. Develop a reporting framework that covers labour, inventory, cost recovery, productivity, and parts management.
• Overseeing business operations to ensure a safe, productive, and customer-centric work environment across all operations.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or relevant management experience and professional track record.
• Proven leadership experience in marine, mechanical, or service-based industries.
• Strong planning and budgeting skills.
• Strong people and culture management skills, from onboarding and development through to retention.
• Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading change, growth, or transformation initiatives.
• An experienced Administrator with Project Management experience.
• A hands-on, collaborative, and loyal approach to leadership.
