Lifeline Australia is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, establish to support the development of national suicide prevention services and Lifeline centres throughout Australia.

Lifeline Australia Ltd (LLA) is located in Sydney, with small teams of dedicated staff employed to lead funding and corporate relations activities, and to provide the design, technical infrastructure and governance services across Lifeline's member network.

LLA recently embarked on an exciting transformation journey, guided by an ambitious strategic plan. The Strategic Plan will see enhancements across services, technology and workforce to bring about better outcomes and a more accessible and flexible support system for help-seekers.

About the Role

The Lifeline Connect Program Lead role will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of a Connect service design model that ensures scalability, operational excellence and strong stakeholder collaboration to meet evolving community & organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ongoing strategy, design and development of the Lifeline Connect model to meet evolving community and organisational needs
  • Develop a documented scalable Lifeline Connect Hub service design that can be adapted to the various contexts and local community needs as well as enabling delivery of workplace wellness and group supervision
  • Develop an implementation plan documenting recommended hub locations (based on Member consultation), and how they will be established.
  • Develop a governance structure to manage the successful delivery of 5 Lifeline Connect Hubs, ensuring full compliance with funding agreements
  • Develop a suite of resources to establish and operate a Lifeline Connect Hub, including training modules, position descriptions, process maps and outreach materials
  • Drive operational excellence by enhancing process ease and efficiency, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal workflow
  • Develop a documented budget and cost allocations for the statewide implementation and ongoing operations
  • Facilitate the statewide Connect Community of Practice;
  • Host & facilitate the inter-Member NSW Steering Committee for the Connect statewide rollout, working collaboratively with all Members to build a workable, fit-for-purpose model

About You

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in delivering Connect Hub or related programs such as in-person crisis support. Previous work experience in a member-based model is considered favourable
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, public health, or community services (Desirable)
  • Proven track record of accomplished and effective leadership in previous roles
  • Proven ability to develop and implement impactful community programs
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills for effective engagement and collaboration with Stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and develop effective solutions
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated commitment to evolving best practice
  • Microsoft office, tech-savvy
