Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor  with minimum 5 years post admission experience to join our close-knit team on a full-time role basis.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years PAE;
  • A comprehensive understanding of NSW criminal law and procedure and Family Law;
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise while having carriage of a large volume of files;
  • The ability to work autonomously and part of a team;
  • Experience appearing at Court;
  • Great leadership skills as you will be mentoring   three to four junior lawyers;
  • A strong ability to follow firm procedures and protocols;
  • Willingness to take direction and receive constructive feedback;
  • High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly;
  • Ability to source and retain new clients;
  • Knowledge of LEAP Legal Practice Management Software; and
  • A current driver's licence as travel is required between offices and to Court.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients
  • Attending conferences with clients and barristers, etc
  • Attending Court
  • Drafting Court documents including submissions
  • Providing practical legal advice to clients
  • Working with support staff to complete administrative tasks.
  • Mentoring junior lawyers
