Sustainable Pty Ltd is looking for fully qualified, highly motivated and skilled Carpenters to join our growing team as a Subcontractor.

Hours: Full-time Part-time project by project support. Consistent weekly workload of a minimum of 40 hours (full-time) or 25-hours (part-time) per week. Monday to Friday (no weekends).

ABN hourly rates: Negotiable competitive rate based on experience, skills and productivity. Paid weekly upon invoice.

Small team environment: We are a small, progressive and cutting-edge company with most of our staff employed permanently for multiple years at a time. We have no egos and require no egos.

Location/s: Brisbane, QLD.

Sustainable is a small, multi-award-winning Design & Construction company of 35 years based in west Brisbane, operating throughout south-east Queensland. We specialise in Custom Homes, Retrofits and Landscapes, tailoring our expertise to meet client and site-specific project needs. We are recognised both locally and nationally for our leadership in sustainable design and construction.

About you:

We are seeking fully qualified carpenters who are hands-on and proactive to complement our hard-working team. We require you to possess the following:

  • Certificate III or higher in Carpentry qualifications
  • At least 2-years post-apprenticeship experience
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable trade vehicle
  • Valid construction White Card
  • Your own trade tools
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • Valid ABN number and insurances
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from Project Managers
  • Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills
  • Aspirations to grow your own skills and take on future site management roles
