About us

Tide Constructions is a high end residential building company. We are all ambitious and hard working tradesman and have developed our team to consist of only like minded people, which in turn provides an excellent workplace culture. We have a team of project managers and carpenters all with experience in the residential building industry and we are looking for another motivated carpenter to join the team

Qualifications & experience

  • Certificate III Carpentry
  • Experience in residential construction projects (stick frame)
  • All tools and reliable vehicle
  • Valid Australian drivers licence
  • New-Build experience
  • Good Renovation experience
  • Broad knowledge of building practices
  • Must be efficient with reading plans and drawing details
  • Can do attitude
  • Must have keen understanding of all building trades and methods not just carpentry

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Take on all carpentry related tasks required in the construction process of residential new builds and renovations from start to finish of a project
  • Work with and maintain subcontractor relationships
  • Ensure the site complies with OHS and environmental standards
  • Work within scheduled times to prevent project delays
  • Work with instructions given from Project Manager and ensure all tasks are completed within a reasonable time frame at a high standard of finish.
  • Complete takeoffs
