Philip Shaw Wines is a premium wine producer with a busy and vibrant Cellar Door. We are currently looking to recruit a Cellar Door Manager to run our tasting room and grow our business.

Lead from the front and guide the team in this exceptional venue, showcasing some of the region's best wines. This is a great opportunity for the right person to grow and develop in this exciting fulltime role

To be successful in this position you will need to have:

  • Strong interest in wine and food
  • Supervisory experience as well as proficiency in staff development & training
  • Event Management
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities
  • The capacity to work well in a hands-on team environment
  • The ability to maximise customer satisfaction with a can-do attitude
  • Computer literacy
  • Marketing skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Showcase commitment to quality and passion for the business
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent results
  • Promote a positive, results orientated work culture to all staff
  • Managing the day to day running of the Philip Shaw Cellar Door operation. Including customer communications and marketing
  • Event Management
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S, licencing and other regulations.
  • Contribute and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reporting to CEO

We are seeking a candidate with previous wine sales or hospitality experience or experience in a similar role along with skills in supervision or management of staff. Event Management experience woudl be an advantage. You'll have excellent verbal, written ability and sound computer knowledge.
