About the role

Johnsons Law Group is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team in our Liverpool, NSW office. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in supporting our family law practice and providing high-quality legal assistance to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents such as court applications, affidavits, and other correspondence
  • Assisting with the organisation and management of client files and case information
  • Liaising with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to gather information and coordinate case activities
  • Providing administrative support to the family law team, including scheduling appointments and maintaining detailed records
  • Contributing to the development of precedents, templates, and other resources to streamline the team's workflow

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a family law practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in using legal research tools and computer software such as Microsoft Office
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or a Paralegal diploma/certificate
