The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the Customer Service team based in Darwin, NT. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of Lysaght for our customers, ensuring exceptional service in each interaction. Working within a friendly and inclusive team you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. Your can-do attitude will be on full display as you take new orders and quotations, providing product and pricing advice and manage a variety of day-to-day enquiries. With the support of a strong leadership team, you will be given every opportunity to further develop your career with us here at BlueScope Australia.
What Will You Do?
Working with a friendly and inclusive team you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. You will:
- interact with our customers via phone and email managing quotes and queries
- follow up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
- collaborate with internal stakeholders including warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met; including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
- continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition
- manage the relationship with logistics and internal stakeholders and working together to improve cost efficiencies, resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer's experience

With your positive attitude and willingness to grow and develop yourself in the role, you will bring:
- previous experience working in a customer service environment
- high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- a strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- a willingness to grow, learn and develop yourself
- demonstrated computer competency including MS Office
