We're looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team. In this role, you'll work in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your contributions matter and your growth is encouraged.

A local family-owned award-winning company operating for over 35 years, The Distributors Mt Gambier takes pride in providing excellent customer service to our existing and ever-expanding client base. We offer an extensive range of food and beverage products, including paper products, cleaning solutions, catering equipment and BBQ essentials throughout The Limestone Coast & Southeast of Western Victoria.

Based in Mount Gambier this full-time position will ideally suit a person who has a strong work ethic, is passionate and self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines with a strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Delivery of frozen, chilled and dry products to customers both locally and throughout the South East and Western Victoria in an effective and timely manner
  • Ensure all invoices are signed and correctly present paperwork as per company procedures
  • Loading & unloading product against manifests, delivery documents and invoices
  • Practice safe and correct manual handling
  • Cleaning, maintenance and record keeping of fleet vehicles
  • General warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

  • Must have current Drivers licence
  • MR & forklift licence preferred but not essential
  • Appropriate physical fitness to undertake the position's duties which includes repetitive lifting/ carrying/ pulling/ pushing of cartons between the average weight of 5kg - 15kg
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Neat and tidy appearance
  • Proactive, self-motivated and have great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Reliable, positive and demonstrates a "Can Do" attitude
