About the role

RMB Logistics is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team based in Mount Druitt, NSW. This is a casual role for the first 3 months with full-time hours. You will be an integral part of our road transport operations, delivering goods to Sydney, Orange, South Coast, Newcastle, & linehaul Tarcutta or Kempsey, changeovers depending on your licence.  RMB Logistics specialises in plants and general freight. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods by all relevant regulations and company policies.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate a range of heavy vehicles, including vans, rigid, semi-trailers and B-doubles, in a safe and responsible manner
  • Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and completed all necessary documentation
  • Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, including fatigue management and load restraint requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with the dispatch and operations teams
  • Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle
  • Primarily working out of our Mount Druitt depot
  • Assisting with loading and unloading our trucks at our Mount Druitt depot, ensuring the yard and trucks are kept clean and tidy.

What we're looking for

  • A valid minimum HR, HC or MC driver's licence and a clean driving record
  • Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) driving heavy vehicles in a commercial transport environment
  • Exceptional safe driving skills and a strong focus on compliance with road transport regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
