Join the Trading & Risk team to support the full trading lifecycle across
Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office
. The role requires a strong trading background, with hands-on experience in
risk management, PnL explain, pricing, operations, and control
. You will ensure that risk, valuation, and operations processes are robust, transparent, and aligned with front office needs in a live trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Support

  • Partner directly with traders on trade capture, lifecycle events, and pricing validation.
  • Validate and challenge valuations, Greeks, and risk metrics to ensure accuracy.
  • Support structuring and new product onboarding by testing booking models and workflows.

Middle Office (Risk & PnL)

  • Perform daily
    PnL explain
    , reconciling FO pricing vs. MO risk vs. BO settlement.
  • Monitor and report on
    VaR, sensitivities, stress tests, and exposures
    .
  • Ensure risk reporting accuracy and support market risk/product control teams.

Back Office (Operations & Control)

  • Oversee trade confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations to ensure STP.
  • Investigate breaks and exceptions, coordinating with FO/MO for quick resolution.
  • Support collateral, margining, and regulatory reporting obligations.

Change & Improvement

  • Contribute to process automation, risk control improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Participate in UAT and regression testing of trading/risk platforms.
  • Liaise with IT/Quant teams as a subject matter expert (SME) representing FO/MO/BO users.

Candidate Profile

Background & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years
    in a
    Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office trading role
    (commodities, FX, rates, equities, or derivatives).
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle, from booking through valuation, risk management, and settlement.
  • Hands-on experience with
    VaR, Greeks, PnL explain, pricing, operations, and trade support
    .
  • Familiarity with leading trading/risk systems (Murex, Endur, Calypso, Orchestrade, Beacon).

Skills

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to challenge risk and PnL results.
  • Excellent knowledge of derivatives and commodity/financial product structures.
  • Proficient in Excel/SQL; Python or VBA a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise between traders, risk managers, and operations teams.

  • Problem-solver, capable of escalating and resolving breaks quickly.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvements across FO/MO/BO.
