As a Senior Policy Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic policy projects, primarily the development of Queensland Health's annual Budget submission and Budget papers. You will undertake analysis and provide advice on policy issues in areas such as health expenditure, funding and health service performance; and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will contribute to preparing high quality written documentation - including senior executive briefings, Cabinet Budget Review Committee (CBRC) submissions, Budget Papers, reports and correspondence.

  • Manage projects within a project management framework including the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships and networks,and manage a wide variety of stakeholders.
