The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Broker Assistant who is ready to hit the ground running and contribute to our busy brokerage team. If you've worked in insurance broking and are looking for a role with scope to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

We also welcome applications from highly motivated individuals without insurance experience who have a strong customer service background, excellent attention to detail, and a great work ethic. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers with client onboarding and account management
  • Prepare and lodge insurance documentation and correspondence
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers for quotes and policy information
  • Manage and follow up on insurance claims
  • Process renewals, new business, and endorsements
  • Conduct remarketing of policies as required
  • Follow up outstanding premiums and assist with debtor management
  • Maintain accurate client records and CRM data
  • Support compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-ups

What You'll Bring

  • Prior experience in insurance broking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of broking processes and client service
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism

For entry-level candidates:

  • No insurance experience required – we value attitude and potential
  • Background in customer service, administration, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • A proactive, reliable, and ethical work style
  • Strong computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
