About the role

This is a full-time role located in Hobart, Tasmania. As a Business Solutions Implementation specialist at Complete Information Solutions, you'll be responsible for delivering and supporting modern, contemporary solutions that drive business success. We are leaders in cloud integration across Retail, Wholesale, Light Manufacturing and Hospitality using best in class applications.

What you'll be doing

  • Analysing business requirements and matching them to our partner solutions
  • Designing, implementing, and configuring solutions to meet business needs
  • Testing and validating solutions to ensure they meet functional requirements
  • Providing pre and post-implementation support and training to end-users
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery
  • Support clients as they become familiar with their new systems
  • Continuously exploring and recommending improvements to existing systems

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of business information systems and business process specifically around inventory management, light manufacturing, job costing, reporting and accounting.
  • Experience working with or implementing supply chain solutions
  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, solution design, and implementation methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and data modelling
  • Passionate about enabling Small & Medium business to thrive through powerful cloud-based solutions

Desirable knowledge and experience

  • Well-developed practical skills working with Microsoft desktop and office solutions.
  • Accounting qualifications or advanced knowledge of accounting principles
  • Advanced skills with Excel functions and data formatting / import / export
  • Advanced skills with Word templates / mail merge functions
  • Experience with web CMS
  • Experience with web technologies and language such as HTML, CSS, Javascript & DNS record management
  • Understanding of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Understanding of software API's
