At HMPS Propac, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Workshop team at our Seven Hills, Sydney location. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in the production process within the Propac brand, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality products. **Key Responsibilities: **

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
• Monitor the performance of machinery to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards of production
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns effectively
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

**Skills and Experience: **

• Trade qualified with proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in programming, operating and maintaining various workshop machinery and tools
• Willingness to engage in manual mill and lathe activities in CNC machine operating and down time
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of different materials and their machining requirements
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in a workshop environment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in executing machining tasks
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Adherence to health and safety regulations in a workshop setting
