Draftsman / CNC Operator

Seven Hills, New South Wales, Australia MTM laser and waterjet cutting Pty Ltd Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and run our new waterjet machine arriving this month.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Drafting experience / Computer competence or ideally familiar with Nesting and CAD software (simple 2D works on Autocad)

  • Good organisational skills

  • Can work unsupervised or within a team environment

  • Attention to detail and quality

  • Good problem solving skills

  • Forklift licence preferred but not essential

  • Drivers licence

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Programming and nesting of daily jobs

  • Working with management on delivering timely projects and work schedules

  • Machine consumable management / control

  • General machine maintenance, repairs and house keeping (training provided)

  • Loading and Unloading of plate materials using a forklift (training provided)

  • QA and job checking on completion of work

  • At times you will be ask to deliver jobs or pick up or materials

  • Pack and wrap completed jobs
