About This Opportunity

Having assessed that they need to maintain their current growth pattern, the Partnership feel that it is important to attract someone that can fulfil several key objectives:

Looking to take some "pressure" off the partnership, this role has been designed to attract an experienced Manager or Senior Manager looking for more responsibility and a more transparent career path.  Managing many of the firm's key client relationships, you will be expected to identify value added options that are relevant to the client (not just provided to increase fees) And yes, you have some excellent resources to utilise to ensure the firm can deliver on its commitments.

In this new position, some of the key responsibilities will include:  

  • Manage the firm's workflow planning
  • Become a mentor to your team of Supervisors, Seniors, Intermediates and Trainees
  • Identify training needs via reviewing
  • Become the "technical" expert and assist with problems/interpretations
  • Work closely with the Partners to ensure the Division is running smoothly

About You

Ideally seeking an experienced accounting professional with over eight years experience in public practice within Australia, you will have already acquired your CA or CPA.   

As this role requires you to deal directly with the firms major clients, you will need to possess a confident communication style and not be intimidated by senior staff.  A desire to take complete "ownership" of a client's needs is a must.  Many of the firm's key clients are large multi entity organisations.

Remuneration & How To Apply

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.   As a guide, a base salary in the range of $170,000 to $200,000 can be expected. 

A full PD can be provided during the interview process.

Relocation assistance can be provided for candidates outside of the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Hunter area.
