City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team to help lead the way in delivering evidence based financial guidance across our organisation.

In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Executive Directors, Executive Managers and Leaders, offering expert support and financial direction that empowers leadership at every level. Your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights will be instrumental in shaping annual budgets, monitoring performance and guiding strategic initiatives. From developing robust business cases to offering technical accounting advice, your expertise will ensure our decisions are grounded in sound financial analysis and aligned with our long-term goals.

  • 35-hour working week with flexible/hybrid work arrangements/model as well as an optional 9-day fortnight
