Your new role

This position is ideal for someone in the early stages of their accounting career who is looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and management accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, including Trust Account management
  • Conducting financial analysis and investigating variances
  • Managing invoicing, debtor reconciliation, collections, and cash flow reporting
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Supporting ad hoc reporting and project-based financial tasks

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will bring:
  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in public practice or commercial accounting
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Experience preparing financial reports and budgets
  • Familiarity with cash flow monitoring and debtor management
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Exposure to systems such as JobPac or MYOB will be highly advantageous
