**Join Brisbane North’s leading dog daycare**
Barkley Park is expanding with our new transport service — and we’re looking for an exceptional human to drive it.

This role is more than just driving. You'll be the **first face our dogs (and their humans) see each morning**, so we need someone who loves dogs, knows how to handle them confidently and safely, and can create a warm, professional experience from driveway to daycare.

**About the Role**
- Operate our fully equipped, **automatic-transmission** Barkley Bus (custom-fitted for dog transport)
- Pick up and drop off dogs from **a single or multiple North Brisbane locations** (routes may vary)
- Greet customers warmly and professionally — you're representing the Barkley Park brand
- Ensure all dogs are transported **securely, calmly, and safely**:

- Maintain the **van to the highest standards of cleanliness and care** — treat it like your own (but please note**:the van remains on-site at Kedron overnight**)
- Work approx. **6 hours/day** (AM pickups and PM drop-offs), with potential for growth
- Communicate proactively with the Barkley Park team throughout the day
- Follow all **Barkley Park procedures, safety protocols, and animal handling guidelines**:

- Champion a safe, clean, and professional transport environment at all times

**What You Bring**
- **Dog handling experience** is essential — ideally from daycare, grooming, training, or similar
- A **full, clean driver’s licence**:

- Confidence driving a large **automatic van**:

- Calm, confident, and friendly personality — with dogs and their owners
- High personal accountability — you take **pride in your work and your vehicle**:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication

**Additional Requirements**
- Must be willing to undertake a **pre-employment medical**:

- Must agree to abide by Barkley Park’s policies and standards at all times
- The Barkley Bus **must be returned to Kedron at the end of each shift**

**Bonus Points For**
- Familiarity with the Brisbane area
- First Aid or Pet First Aid Certification is preferred
- Experience working independently and managing your own schedule

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.23 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
