As our Electrical Technical Advisor, you'll support the Electrolysis department with expert electrical guidance, strategic maintenance planning, and hands-on troubleshooting. Lead safety initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to asset reliability and performance.

Job Details

  • Promote a culture of safety first, ensuring adherence to standards, policies and regulations
  • Provide advanced technical support for fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Drive maintenance efficiency through data analysis and lifecycle planning
  • Support capital projects and reliability upgrades
  • Manage electrical asset obsolescence and inventory rationalisation
  • Mentor electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of learning and safety
  • Demonstrate our values of Teamwork, Achieve and Care.

About you
Can You Demonstrate

  • Electrical Trade Certificate or Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree
  • NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering principles, particularly in the areas of electrical safety, equipment maintenance requirements and technical standards
  • 5+ years in heavy industry, mining, or metals maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
  • Commitment to quality outcomes with a strong focus on safety
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and leadership potential.
