We're Hiring: Experienced Plant Operators - Civil & Mining Infrastructure

Exciting opportunities exist for experienced plant operators to join our growing team at Allstate Civil

We are seeking skilled plant operators with civil construction experience to work on major civil and mining infrastructure projects across the Bowen Basin.

These are Drive-In / Drive-Out (DIDO) positions, ideally suited to applicants from the Moranbah, Mackay, Rockhampton & Emerald regions.

Allstate Civil is a leading civil construction company servicing the Mining, Infrastructure and Civil sectors throughout the Bowen Basin. We pride ourselves on leading the industry through the use of innovative technology and Intelligent Machine Control, utilising a modern low hour fleet to deliver exceptional projects for our clients.

We offer a range of services, catering to a diverse range of projects. Our construction capabilities include roadworks (green and brown field), water storage dam construction, tailings dam remediation, pipelines, drains, levees, and culvert installation, among others.

The Role

As a Skilled Plant Operator, you will be instrumental in supporting our civil construction operations. You will operate and maintain a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to the highest safety and efficiency standards. The ideal candidates will be highly skilled, safety-conscious, and team-oriented. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with the below capabilities:

  • Articulated Dump Truck
  • Roller (Padfoot and Smooth Drum)
  • HR Water Truck
  • Excavator (Final Trim / GPS)

  • Exceptional work ethic & reliable attendance
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Current and relevant RII qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills & Certifications
  • Current Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11 (Surface Induction)
  • Relevant RIIs (preferred)
  • BMA site inductions (or willing to obtain)
