About the Role

Based in our Adelaide office, this role plays a key part in driving financial clarity and operational confidence across the business. As a Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight in every transaction.

You'll work closely with our National Finance Lead, People & Culture, and business unit leaders to deliver meaningful financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis that supports strong, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, revenue recognition, and compliance with ATO requirements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with reconciliations, variance analysis, and performance insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities that guide business strategy and operations.
• Partner with project and business unit leaders to provide financial clarity and decision support.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal quality controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

To thrive in this role, you'll be someone who:

• Holds (or is nearing completion of) your CA qualification
• Brings 3–5 years' accounting experience within a professional services or project environment
• Take ownership of your work with precision, integrity, and accountability.
• Balance strong technical accounting skills with sound commercial awareness.
• Communicate clearly and build trust with leaders and project teams.
• Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with calm efficiency.
• Look for smarter, more efficient ways to improve processes and reporting.
• Show curiosity and initiative - asking questions, challenging the norm, and driving improvement.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
