Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator

Permanent - Office basedPerth - South of the river

About the RoleOur client is a growing logistics company seeking an experienced Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator** to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, coordinate daily freight movements, and ensure shipments are delivered accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner
  • Update in-house database and other operational tools to manage daily work flow
  • Handle a dedicated portfolio of clients while consistently delivering high-quality customer service
  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure prompt delivery of goods
  • Schedule transport in line with fleet requirements
  • Monitor and follow up on empty container status and movements
  • Maintain accurate account information, including contact and delivery details
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate delays to relevant departments and customers
  • Manage DAWR container processes and ensure compliance
  • Keep up to date with customs regulations and compliance updates
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support smooth operations
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service in all interactions

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar logistics, freight forwarding, or transport coordination role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Professional communicator with a strong customer service focus
  • Proactive and confident in managing operational issues
