We are seeking dedicated Servery, Service -Clearers, and Laundry to join our team.

The Opportunity

We currently have casual positions available in our Residential aged care facility. The role is responsible for conducting a broad range of servery, cleaning, and or/laundry activities under the general direction of the Facility Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure a safe work environment by adopting safe work practices.
  • Maintain good working relationships with staff, residents and families.
  • To work within the mission statement and philosophy of Southern Cross Care (Tasmania) Inc. to achieve the highest possible standard of care for residents.
  • Always maintain and respect employee, consumer and organisational confidentiality.
  • Actively participate in meetings and discussions in a constructive manner.
  • Work as part of a busy team and be supportive of other team members.
  • Prioritise workload and use care resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Adhere to legislation pertaining to privacy and confidentiality and handling of personal information.

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards (or the ability to acquire this).
  • Satisfactory national police check within the last three months.
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration with NDIS endorsement.
  • If you are on a visa, a copy of your current IMMI Letter.
