We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hard-working Food Truck Manager to take the reins of our busy mobile kitchen. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid kitchen experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exciting specials, leading day-to-day food truck operations, and assisting with occasional shifts in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the food truck from setup to pack down
  • Organise and correspond with potential clients for events
  • Prepare and cook high-quality menu items, including weekly specials
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
  • Collaborate with the wider kitchen and management team
  • Assist in the restaurant as required
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience is essential
  • Must have a full driver's licence and be confident to drive a food truck
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised and manage responsibilities independently
  • Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • Creativity and initiative to develop new menu specials
  • Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday
  • Punctual, dependable, and positive under pressure
  • Food safety certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
