About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on
WordPress Developer
to join one of Australia's leading digital businesses in a fully internal capacity. You'll take ownership of the company's core marketing website and supporting web assets — maintaining, improving, and expanding WordPress-based systems that drive real visibility and growth.

This isn't a client delivery role. You'll work closely with internal marketing, SEO, and design teams to build fast, high-performing, SEO-friendly pages, custom templates, and plugins that integrate with platforms like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and more. If you've built full WordPress sites from scratch — not just customised themes — and you know your way around ACF, APIs, and technical SEO, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain and improve the company's WordPress website and microsites
  • Build and update templates, custom fields, and reusable components
  • Develop and support third-party integrations (HubSpot, SendGrid, CRMs, analytics)
  • Optimise for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
  • Ensure website reliability, uptime, and security
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, SEO, design) on new features and enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of WordPress development experience (custom themes, plugins, integrations)
  • Strong PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery skills
  • Experience with ACF, Gutenberg, WP CLI, and version control (Git)
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and performance optimisation
  • Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
  • Based in Sydney with full working rights — this is an on-site role (not remote)
