Liquitech(Qld)Pty.Ltd is a privately owned & operated business that has been servicing the Townsville & Surrounding Regions for over 25years. Liquitech is known for it's high level of service & resounding problem solving in several sectors including Municipal, Industrial, Mining, Aquaculture, Rural & Domestic with the total support of our key World Leading Suppliers in their field eg; Grundfos, SEW Eurodrive, SSI Aeration, Gardner-Denver & Boerger.

We are currently seeking to appoint for immediate start our next "First Point of Contact" person to be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, as well as taking ownership of sales processes from beginning to end. In this role you will be required to perform across a variety of areas, from front counter to phone & email sales, assisting in the warehouse area, liaise with suppliers to source & order products, prepare pricing & quotations, recommend solutions of the latest technology, conduct simple servicing tasks & maintain the general appearance of the branch.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong focused customer service plus sound verbal & written communication skills
  • Sales experience in industrial & technical products or potentially have some practical hands-on service skills advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & RECKON an advantage
  • Ability to be trained & grow knowledge in solving complex technical issues
  • Physical ability to assist in warehouse operations when necessary

  • Have the ability to multitask & prioritize work activities

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing sales or service role an advantage

  • Previous experience in industrial, mining, or technical equipment sectors highly regarded

  • Current Australian driver's licence

  • Forklift licence advantageous but not essential, must be willing to be trained to gain one

  • Basic understanding of pumps, motors, industrial power equipment or SWJ PVC & UPVC (extensive training provided) a huge advantage

  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications would be helpful
