Project Officer Continuous Improvement

- Competitive salary of $113,574- $125,720 pa plus superannuation and leave loading
About the role
Perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of the SI Continuous Improvement (CI) program in line with established objectives. The role will be responsible for preparing communications and reporting, including briefings, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enable sharing of CI findings and outcomes.
The role will support the Manager, CI by facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions, drafting CI initiative plans and maintaining the CI register.
The CI team plays a pivotal role in driving strategic change across School Infrastructure by leading end-to-end process improvement and change management initiatives. Sitting at the heart of the division, the team works closely with senior executives and key stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven projects that enhance operational efficiency and support asset management across the lifecycle.

About you
- Confident communicator with strong written and presentation skills
- Skilled in engaging senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships
- Able to lead and manage projects using Project Management software with minimal support
- Comfortable working with data to inform decisions and drive outcomes
- Quick to learn and navigate the School Infrastructure environment
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
