We are a family-owned dental practice located in picturesque Nelson Bay. Our team is dedicated to providing personalised, high quality dentistry for local families. We have continued to provide dental care in our community for over 30 years and welcome patients of all ages. We strive to provide a friendly, welcoming, comfortable environment where our patients can feel at ease. We are currently seeking an experienced, confident Practice Manager to join our team, and play a key role in overseeing and supporting the efficient operations and growth of our practice.
Role
As the Practice Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our practice, including staff management, scheduling, compliance and reporting to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient administrative functions. This role will require high levels of confidentiality and professionalism and will see you will work closely with our owners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Mentor, develop and support our team, ensuring high performance, adherence to practice standards and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Manage the daily operations of the practice, enhancing efficiency whilst maintaining consistent positive patient experiences. Maintain accurate documentation, staff rosters and reporting systems.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations, standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to enhance clinical processes and improve patient experiences.
- Liaise professionally with external stakeholders, such as dental companies, insurers, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate smooth operations and compliance of the practice.

Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership or Managerial role in a health setting
- Experience working in a dental setting is preferred; we also encourage applicants with experience in a medical or allied health setting to apply.
- Demonstrated people management skills
