We are seeking a Quality and Practice Manager to champion best practice, lead quality assurance, and ensure our services continue to meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and care.

About the role
As the Quality and Practice Manager, you will:
- Lead quality assurance systems, audits, and compliance with the OOHC Code of Practice and Child Safe Standards.
- Oversee induction, onboarding, and training frameworks to build staff capability, in partnership with HR/People and Culture
- Drive practice leadership by embedding trauma-informed and therapeutic models across all services.
- Monitor and analyse data to support real-time improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Lead organisational readiness for accreditation and external reviews.
- Support incident and risk management processes and ensure learnings translate into stronger practice.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to embed quality practice across operations
About you
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong leadership experience in the OOHC or human services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of child protection legislation, quality frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Experience in audits, practice reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High-level communication and policy-writing skills.
- Confidence in coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff capability.
Desirable: tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services (or related), TCI Train the Trainer certification, and familiarity with OOHC data frameworks.

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current National Police Check
- Unrestricted Driver's Licence
