is looking for a full-time Junior Construction Project Manager for our client in Derwent Park, Tasmania.   • Ensure project milestones are met and adjust plans as needed.
  • Understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications of concrete pump stations, irrigation systems, steel panel tanks and other engineering projects.
  • Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials and equipment.
  • Support the coordination of labour resources and liaise with internal staff and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Promote a culture of safety on all job sites and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols.
  • Implement and ensure quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Monitor project expenses and prepare regular financial reports for senior management.
  • Completing monthly and annual stock takes to keep track of the inventory.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process of small pump packages, ensuring that the process is in line with the project requirements.

Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Must hold a Diploma of Business or Management or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
  • Must have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
  • Must be an analytical thinker.
  • Must be initiative.
  • Must have a positive approach to change.

Salary Range: $75, 008 p.a. excluding superannuation.
