About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Brisbane Head Office team. This role is responsible for supporting financial operations across Redland, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial transactions, maintaining compliance, and supporting business decision-making with reliable information.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and process employee expense claims.
• Administer Accounts Receivable, including receipting payments, issuing invoices, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank transactions as part of the monthly reconciliation process.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
• Assist with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Finance Officer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting practices and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Xero and ApprovalMax highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organised, adaptable, and able to meet strict deadlines.
