The Role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Field Service Representative (FSR) to deliver high-quality Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services in support of defence clients across Australia, and potentially New Zealand and South-East Asia. In this role, you will provide on-site technical expertise, support, and training to ensure the operational readiness and sustainment of advanced defence systems and equipment.

Acting as the key link between EPE and our clients, you will diagnose issues, carry out repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and support integration of new technologies in complex and demanding environments. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires initiative, strong problem-solving ability, and a willingness to travel and work in dynamic defence settings.

Key Responsibilities

·       Perform maintenance, repair and calibration of EPE-supplied equipment both in-house and at client sites.

·       Provide technical advice, training, and ongoing support to customers.

·       Report on maintenance activities accurately and on time.

·       Maintain current knowledge of maintenance processes, OEM updates, and technical bulletins.

·       Obtain and maintain required qualifications, licenses, and security clearances.

·       Support EPE's activities across Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia as needed.

·       Represent EPE at conferences, demonstrations, trials, and client engagements.

·       Adhere to EPE's Values, Quality, WHS and the ADF Technical Regulatory Framework.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

·       Recognised qualification in electronics or communications.

·       Australian Citizen with a checkable background (eligible for NV1 AGSVA security clearance).

·       Current Australian Passport and Queensland driver's license.

·       High-level competency in Microsoft Office.

·       Demonstrated skills in soldering, use of test equipment, and maintenance of electronic/communications/computer technologies.

Desirable:

·       Forklift License (HRWS).

·       EIT (Test and Tag).

·       Radiation use license/training.

·       Remote Pilot License (RePL).

·       Experience with CMMS (e.g., FiiX) and/or Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).

·       Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.

·       High level of written and verbal communication ability.

·       Comfortable working autonomously or within a team.

·       Able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.

·       Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international).

·       Flexible to provide out-of-hours support when required.
