This dynamic Brisbane Southside based home builder has a strong track record and great team. Undergoing further growth they are now looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Officer to join their team.

Your primary responsibility will be managing the accounts payable function, ensuring suppliers and subcontractors are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Input and process subcontractor and supplier invoices.

- Prepare and process fortnightly (14-day) and monthly (30-day) payables, including payment schedules, supplier

payments, and subcontractor claims.

- Manage reconciliation of supplier statements and end-of-month accounts.

- Administer retention, back charges, and provisional sums; notify the construction team when allowances are

exceeded.

- Onboard new suppliers and subcontractors, including completing forms, reviewing T&Cs, and maintaining

compliance documentation (licences, insurances, agreements).

- Process credit card payments, staA reimbursements, and company expenses; maintain accurate digital filing.

- Track, enter, and analyse vehicle and mobile phone expenses.

- Log preliminary orders in Databuild.

- Manage Filebound system (tickets, upgrades, issue tracking, and quarterly CSM meetings).

- Follow up with supervisors and directors on pending invoices that require approval to ensure timely payment.

Ideally but not essential you will have a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) as well as experience in a similar accounts or administration role.Exposure to the building and construction industry will be advantageous as well as basic accounting knowledge with strong attention to detail.
