About the Role
Based in Adelaide, this senior executive position (SAES2 classification) offers a unique opportunity to lead the Commercial and Procurement Branch and directly influence how the South Australian Government approaches complex commercial matters. You'll provide inspiring leadership while delivering well-researched, clear advice on diverse commercial and procurement matters to the Treasurer, Cabinet, and key stakeholders.
As Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing policies, systems, and frameworks that support high-quality commercial outcomes across government. You'll lead strategic whole-of-government commercial projects, manage complex procurements, and ensure efficient delivery within timeframes and budget.
About You
It is essential that you have a deep understanding of government processes and stakeholder management. You will have proven experience providing high-quality leadership to large organisations, experience leading complex transactions, and track record of delivering insightful, proactive commercial advice that achieved exceptional outcomes.
