Following the ethos and vision of the highly accomplished former CEO, the appointee will continue to steward the growth, innovation and sustainability of the organisation achieved during his tenure. Reporting to the skills-based Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead a passionate and specialist team, driving strategic direction, service excellence and sector leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- in conjunction with the Board, leading the development and execution of strategic and business plans aligned to Lutheran Care's mission and values;
- leading the organisation with a focus on staff engagement, capability building and a positive and inclusive culture of empowerment and resilience;
- ensuring financial sustainability through effective resource management, compliance and risk management;
- ensuring sound governance and effective reporting to the Board;
- ensuring ongoing productive and highly engaged relationships with external stakeholders including community, government, corporate, funding bodies and partner entities;
- representing the organisation as a sector leader and spokesperson, promoting Lutheran Care's mission through effective communication with clients, donors; partners and the broader community.
