
Business Development Managers – Cabinetry Channel

KNOX ONE is a fast-growing Australian-owned company with multiple product lines under different brands. Our signature brand, Verdecor, specialises in premium decorative MDF and particleboard products for the cabinetry, interior, and architectural markets.
With growing market demand and exciting new product launches, we are expanding our business development team and seeking two talented and driven Business Development Managers to join our Melbourne-based operations. Immediate start available for the right candidates.
Role 1: Business Development Manager – Cabinetry Channel
Focus: B2B clients such as cabinet makers, builders, and joinery manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new B2B customers within the cabinetry and fit-out industry
- Present Verdecor collections through face-to-face visits and sample delivery
- Follow up on leads, provide quotes, and manage the order lifecycle
- Assist clients with product selection based on project needs
- Ensure clients have ongoing access to samples, updates, and price support
- Collaborate with internal teams on logistics, stock, and service
- Report sales activities and pipeline updates using CRM
Role 2: Business Development Manager – Architects & Designers Channel (Specification Manager)
Focus: Designers, architects, developers, and commercial project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with design studios, architecture firms, and specifiers
- Promote the Verdecor brand and products through presentations and events
- Support product specification into residential and commercial projects
- Monitor project progression from design phase through to builder implementation
- Coordinate sample requests and technical documents
- Represent Verdecor at industry trade shows and design networking events
- Work cross-functionally to bridge design intent with sales conversion
About You (for both roles)
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in sales (cabinetry, panel products, or building materials)
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable managing your own schedule and client visits
- Passionate about design, materials, and client service
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Valid Australian driver's licence
