Greater Sydney Area, Australia BONIIK Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About BONIIK

BONIIK is Australia's leading destination for curated K-Beauty. We are passionate about bringing the innovation, efficacy, and joy of Korean skincare and makeup to our dedicated community. Our brand is built on authenticity, education, and providing an unparalleled customer experience.

We are about to embark on our most exciting expansion yet: launching our first-ever BONIIK concession within Australia's iconic department store, MYER. We are seeking an exceptional Retail Project Manager to lead this landmark project and build the blueprint for our future department store presence.

The Role

As our Retail Project Manager, you will be the dedicated leader responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of the new BONIIK concession at MYER. This is a hands-on role requiring meticulous planning and flawless execution. You will be the central point of contact, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and perfectly represents the BONIIK brand within the premium MYER environment.

Your Mission Will Involve:

  • Project & Timeline Management:
Develop and own the master project plan from design approval to grand opening, managing all critical paths, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • MYER Partnership Management:
Act as the primary liaison between BONIIK and all relevant MYER internal teams, including Design & Construction, Operations, IT, Marketing, and Store Management. Building a strong, collaborative relationship is key to success.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage the complete project budget, including fit-out, fixtures, technology, and launch costs. Meticulously track all spending and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Design & Fit-Out Coordination:
Oversee the entire fit-out process, managing external vendors (design agencies, fixture manufacturers, contractors) to ensure the concession is built to the highest standard and complies with both BONIIK's brand guidelines and MYER's design criteria.
  • Operational & Systems Readiness:
Coordinate the setup of all operational necessities, including POS systems, inventory management integration, and staff scheduling, ensuring seamless alignment with MYER's in-store processes.
  • Compliance & Logistics:
Ensure full adherence to MYER's operational, Work Health & Safety (WHS), and logistical requirements, including contractor access, site inductions, and delivery schedules.
  • Team & Launch Readiness:
Work closely with HR and the Retail Operations team to ensure the new team is recruited, onboarded, and trained not only on BONIIK standards but also on MYER's store policies and culture. Plan and execute a high-impact grand opening event in partnership with the BONIIK and MYER marketing teams.

Who We're Looking For

You are a master diplomat and a logistics expert with a passion for bringing brands to life in physical spaces. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities of a "shop-in-shop" environment and thrive on managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Concession Experience:
3-5+ years of project management experience with a specific focus on launching retail concessions, pop-ups, or shop-in-shop concepts.
  • Department Store Expertise:
Direct experience working with major department stores (e.g., MYER, David Jones) is highly mandatory. You must know how to navigate their processes and build effective partnerships.
  • Stakeholder Management:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to manage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management:
Strong network of, and experience in managing, shopfitters, fixture suppliers, and contractors in the Australian retail market.
  • Financial Acumen:
Confident in building and managing project budgets and delivering clear financial reporting.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving:
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, able to navigate unexpected challenges and keep the project moving forward.
  • Beauty/Cosmetics Industry Passion:
Experience or a strong passion for the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry is highly advantageous.

Why Join BONIIK?

  • Pivotal Role:
Be the driving force behind a landmark project that will define the next chapter of our brand's growth.
  • Career Growth:
This is a high-visibility role with the potential to shape the future of BONIIK's physical retail strategy.
  • Dynamic Culture:
Join a passionate, collaborative team that is a leader in the exciting world of K-Beauty.
  • Competitive Package:
We offer a competitive salary + superannuation, a generous employee discount, and the opportunity to be part of something truly special.
